There is a difference between someone with a nice voice and a voice artist. Both are pleasant to listen to and can do a job. But when it comes to adjusting the delivery to create just the right feel for your project, there can be no comparison. A Voice Artist has the ability to recreate a sentence exactly the way that they’ve just recorded it and change the emphasis on one word. Or adjust the speed of their delivery to make it faster or slower. Energy (or lack thereof) is critical to any project and the Voice needs to be able to increase or reduce their levels according to what the client calls for.
I have 18 years in the industry as a professional voice artist, having worked on Radio, as a voice artist and as an actor on TV, and in the Multimedia world voicing corporate client videos, explainer videos, documentaries and e-learning content to name but a few.
My voice is a warm, rich baritone with crisp treble tones, and a British / neutral South African accent which makes it perfect for both the local and international market. With my strong yet understated diction and elocution, it can easily be understood across seas and continents.
